3. What Is MaxCache? MaxView caches online documents for quicker viewing when you return to the same web site. MaxCache also gives you the ability to view documents stored in the MaxCache directory while not connected to the Internet. You can set attributes for caching (temporarily storing) pages from a remote document. When you begin to view a page from a remote document that isn't in the cache, MaxView downloads the file and puts it in the cache so thereafter you can quickly access it. Periodically removing files from the cache is a good practice.
Go to MaxView/Options/Internet. Set the directory path for storing files from a website (the default is Program Files/MaxView/MaxCache) and remove cached files. |
